WP Plugin:Add Global Translator to your Blog
Last week two of my articles got few linkbacks from some popular sites like Ayudawordpress and Phpspot
in Spanish and Japanese languages. This drove over 5k traffic from those respective languages in the week. I believe many of them tried to read content in my blog and faced some inconvenience with the language. And I got couple of mails also from the visitors saying “Hey Lax why don’t you place a translator option in TechZoomIn“. So always I listen first to my readers than page ranks or load times or etc…
I found Global Translator as the good and simple plugin to use. It doesn’t effect your blog load time as much as other translator from different sources. And also simple interface with min time to translate to any language.
Cool features of Global Translator:
- Supports 4 translator engines including Google translator engine
- Google Translation Engine
- Promt Online Translator
- AltaVista Babel Fish
- Free Translator
- Supporting 22 languages currently: English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Greek, Dutch, Norwegian, Bulgarian, Czech, Croat, Danish, Finnish, Hindi, Polish, Rumanian and Swedish.
- Download Global Translator
So what Do you think? Just install this plugin and get traffic from other language sites too.

But Global Translator fails in many uses and report error
all free translator Banned sites when you automated your translate.
@David Carrero Fernández-Baillo,
David, The problem comes because of the cache.But for end user it won’t effect.they will be able to see their lang.when you try to click on diff flags at the same time the cache give the problem and it will ask user to come back again.
I didn’t get the Banned word.Can you expand it a bit?
Great idea to consider spanish.
Have you think about real translators doing their job better than a machine?
Please contact me if you are interested.
@Luis Rull ,
Thanks for the offer.
what Do you mean by real translators?
@Lax: I meant people who make better translations than a machine. Translators are not so expensive once you provide them constant and secure work.
@Luis Rull,
Ok got that point. But i didn’t get what Do you mean by “Please contact me if you are interested.”
what exactly you are offering?
We have a gruop of translators who can Do the job for a reasonable price.
Ok thats great

I really have a problem to put wp global translator on my blogspot.com website. Is anyone can help me how to Do that, because I cant find option for plugin on blogspot website. If anyone do that on blogspot website please explane me how. Thanks
The Plugin is only for WP users. As you’re on blogger platform, you can just insert Google translator code directly into your blogger.
How Do you adjust google translator ??
I never tried it on Blogger. But you can get too many guides online to install it on Blogger.
hey good found lax, i am also planing to use this plugin
me too, wow really brought traffic from another language? is it make search engine crawled using another lang?
it’s a good plugin.
i am already using this on my blog and it is performing well on my blog.
That plugin looks pretty cool. Have you seen the Google translator, that automatically prompts a user coming to your page to translate to their default language. It’s pretty neat.
Hey this is so cool! I will download this now and use it on my site. This will generate more traffic too as non-English readers can read my blog with their own language. Thanks for the info.
I know about this plugin, but i have not tried using it on my site, Do you get any traffic from other countries and does it really get utilized ?
this is very cool! Now I’m really convinced that WP is a lot better than blogger software.
But sometimes the plugin can’t translate properly..
i am not using any plugin to translate my content as no one asked me to Do it.
Its great, I have installed it on my blog and its working fine, even though I cannot understand Foreign Languages but still I am sure they will be understandable by my readers.
rite now i m not using any plugin, but i m thinking to use it, its a useful thing, i m gona to use it, thankyou for sharing.
