Usually I use Visual Studio to open my php files. But yesterday I formatted my machine and I don’t want to install Visual Studio again just for opening PHP files. Gone through the web and found this cool, simple & free tool to open PHP files. It’s as simple as notepad…

There are many all in Editors which will open many formats.
Still this one is very simple as you said.
I personally use Textpad for all my coding related stuff.. Until now for PHP related coding I use the editor provided by my webhost..

I never heard of Komodo IDE. Is that free?
I use VS editor for this… But this seems to be of great use if you want editor only for PHP.
Nice find. As far as I know PHP files can be opened and edited through MS Frontpage as well.
I will give this one a try later.

Great i think you can do those changes here too.
I am using Komodo Edit only for writing all my PHP,jQuery, ajax based scripts! This is just like the Mozilla Firefox Browser and have loads of Addons and also updates automatically! Once you use Komodo Edit you will forget any other Editors!
