Why Google Penalizing Bloggers? How to Avoid?
If you’re aware of SEO(Search Engine Optimization),you must have heard about Google penalizing webmasters and bloggers.Why Google penalizing?How to know and Avoid? If you’re doing any of the below things,then always there may be chance to get slap from Google.Here we go with some possible steps to avoid…
1. Don’t hide pages: Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link.
2. Excessive use of keyword: Use only the keywords which resembles your content.Using extra or unwanted popular keywords may keep you out.
3. Don’t sell links: Selling too many links OR links with follow, may cause to block your site by Google
4. Use Robots.txt: This File tells crawlers which Directories can or cannot be crawled. Make sure it’s current for your site so that you don’t accidentally block the Googlebot crawler.
5. Follow Thumb rule: Always follow the thumb rule that build content for your visitors,not for search engines.If your content is useful,search engines will come automatically.
6. Linking To Banned Sites: Cross check that whether you linked to any banned sites.This will drag you out of Google index.
7. Getting Linked By Bad Sites: Check your incoming links.If you’re linked by a banned site,ask them to remove your link from there before Google suspects you.
8. Don’t Automate: Don’t use any automation programs to push your pages into Google index.
9. malicious behavior pages: Check your pages syntax before publishing.If it appears to be malicious to Google,they may immediately block to avoid further damage.
10. paid Content: Don’t write OR Don’t let Google know that you are writing some or full of the content for bucks.Avoid words like paid to blog or paid posts.
11. Redirect Pages: Avoid too many redirection from your site.Google will suspect too many redirections and it will consider you as a spammer.
12. Duplicate Content: Whether you copy content OR someone copy your content,Always there may be a chance to get banned.
13. Avoid Doorway or Cookie cutter pages: Avoid “doorway” pages created just for search engines, or other “cookie cutter” approaches such as Affiliate programs with little or no original content.
14. Follow Adsense tos: Follow the Adsense TOS imposed by Google.
15. Short term Domain renewals: This is most controversial,but need to follow.Google feels that only spammers will register domains for short term and they will leave once the job over.
16. Too many sub domains: Controversial but Google will suspect the sites having too many sub domains.If you’re really in need of creating sub domains,you can create and explain Google when needed.
17. Reciprocal links: Excessive reciprocal links exchange will put you in trouble. It should be done only if they are relevant and useful.
18. Be Vigilant: Apart from all the precautions,you need to be active on web to know the new rules imposed and need to observe you neighbors closely to avoid further damage.
How to know whether you’re penalized by Google? There are no special Tools to tell this one.You need to manually check your position in search results and your page rank status every time.If your page rank falls OR if you lost your position at search results,then these are the symptoms to know that something happening behind your blog.
In this situations you need cross check the following guidelines along with Google Webmaster rules.After a through cross check you need to appeal Google to reconsider your site.

There are many controversial rules in google Webmaster guidelines.But we can’t oppose them.
You have covered almost all the rules and i don’t know any 19th tip
Perfect rules that we need to avoid here.But there are many rules even,but they are all simple and don’t need to know them until you dont have any plan to break the rules and test google.

I installed the “Scratchback” widget on my blog. Does Google consider those links, or not?

Google won’t take them that serious.but if your main aim is to sell Page Rank through that links.
Then there may be chance to suspect you.But you can use Scratchback and TLA as far as i know.

Good post… I am all for Google’s approach. I mean, if it’s granting search visibility for certain good content, it’s our responsibility to make sure that we don’t exploit it by selling PR links. That will sabotage the entire algorithm. Since it’s touching its own search preferences and not our sites, nobody has any right to talk against it.
