How it works: RANDOM.ORG is a true random number service that generates randomness via atmospheric noise. It uses radio receivers to pick up atmospheric noise, which is then used to generate random numbers.Thunderstorms or weather changes generate atmospheric noise, which is quite easy to pick up with a normal radio.Depending on those radio frequencies the random number generators work.
