Once you start your blogging career as a part time or a fulltime blogger its important to set an objective or goals, I would consider a goal should be limited to some x number of days, like for instance set a goal to get at least 500 daily unique visitors to your blog every month, once you reach a goal its important to set another. If you can succeed in reaching your every goal in time then you should become a professional blogger much faster than you can expect.

One should consider both positive and negative aspects of blogging. If you think that you are not upto the task and believe that you cannot make money from your blog then there are plenty of other options available to you.

There are lot of companies and organizations looking for bloggers who can blog for their company. To clinch job from that industry, you need to have some level of written skills, and your blogging experience counts in that case. People who are looking for professionals like you require some samples of work and you can show your blog as an indication of your blogging experience. So I seriously believe there is nothing wrong in becoming a full time professional blogger.
