Is the “kidblogger” you refer is Carl Ocab? Exchanging links to No page rank sites will only took your long journey to be noticed by search engine where most SE picked sites with large quantity of backlinks from high PR websites.
Agree with you earn money at home, so just concentrate on looking for high-Quality link, right? In other word, better to looking for less link but come from high PR site than a thousand of link from no PR site.

It can bring you in a bit of traffic, but dont realy on it to much. It’s just good for traffic
I think those are what we called empty traffic. Because those traffic doesn’t contribute anything to your blog. I don’t think they even read your blog and there is a 99.9 percent chance that they will come back.

Nice tips. Actually “searching for backlink” is routin activity of a lot of blogger nowadays. Five tips in this article is right but just wanna advice to don’t Do it too much or you can get suspected as “link farmer” which cause your site blacklisted or jumped into google sandbox.
I avoid massive link exchange for link Building, but yes, it can help for new blog tough.
Massive link exchange? Don’t be so massive, because if your popularity suddenly increased so much, you’ll expected as link farmer by SE even when you not doing something bad.

Yes, but it’s hard to offer link exchange with them when our site is not popular enough. So, for newbie, i recommend to build page rank first at least to PR2 in order to get people accept our link exchange program.

Do you mean placing signature on do-follow forum? Yes, more posting mean more exposure to your link and you get many backlink. But i find link from forum is not affect so much.
I think Google no longer put much weight on link exchange, it may lead to link farm too, but try to minimize this link Building practice, there are actually many better ways for us to build healthy backlinks.

I never hear about that google policy, is it new policy? It’s because, logically, the most pure backlink is come from link exchange.
Google gives less juice to link exchange links than a one way link.

Wiki links is valuable. If you get it. This single link is worth of thousand crappy links. Don’t know how to get it. I am going to build link again for my this new blog. But i think putting a lot of effort in link Building is not beneficial in terms of input and output.

Internal link Building is also important for SEO, also link to other site is always useful but don’t get linked with those sites which is already present in your server, Google will surely penalize for these kind of activities.
