Tips To Maximize Your AdSense Income
Google Adsense is of course the best and most trusted money making program. This program has extreme and incredible potential to make money from the internet. However, making money with this program is becoming sophisticated day by day, because of huge competition between the publishers who are participating in this program.
There are few strategies that you can try to maximize your AdSense income. Before I actually start, let me tell you something, these strategies worked for me and I cannot guarantee the same success rate. So let’s start.
Changing the Font Face and Size of the Ads:
Google Adsense publishers are allowed to change the Font face and size of the ads… These features are enabled by the AdSense team in the past few months… AdSense allows only 3 standard fonts namely Arial, Times new Roman and Verdana. So make sure that your blog font matches one of these fonts… Change the font face of your ads accordingly to match the font of your blog. AdSense also allows you to vary the size of your ads… You can now choose font size between Small, Medium and Large. Reports suggested that, publishers who are using Medium and larger size fonts make more money than using the smaller fonts, and that’s the reason why Google changed the default font size of the ads from small to medium.
Less ADS More Revenue:
Lot of AdSense users wonder that having more number of AdSense units fetch more money!! But trust me that’s not true in all the cases. Reduce the number of AdSense ad units in your blog or web site and feel the change. I’ve noticed increase in CPC of my AdSense units with the reduction in the number of ad units in a particular page. I would suggest all the AdSense users to have less number of AdSense units rather than using all the ad units in a single page.
Placement Targeting:
There are people who believe that clicks from USA and UK brings some good earnings when compared to clicks from other countries, and know what! That’s true. Advertises from USA and UK pay Google higher per click than the advertisers from China, India etc… so targeting your ads to the USA or UK audience would certainly benefit you.
These are some of the strategies I followed to make some good money from AdSense. I hope this tips would benefit you too. Try the above mentioned strategies and let us know if these tips helped you increase the revenue. Any comments and suggestions are very well appreciated.

I think aside from changing the font, you also need to change the background to match your blog’s background color.

I am huge fan of Adsense. For a few years almost all my income came from that one source and it was a pretty good income. Unfortunately, after a couple of BIG SLAPS from Google that income dropped to almost nothing. In the last couple of years I have changed my strategy and have been slowing Building lots of small niche sites with lots of good content and following pretty much exactly what you wrote about in your post and the income is starting to grow nicely again
Hmm good that you started the flow again..Its always better not to depend too much on Adsense. Am i right?
I think it is always better to not to depend one only one income source period. Over the years I have had several businesses that I was affiliated with change their rules or get bought out and my income source was cut off. Not fun
Hmmm. thanks for sharing all your experience here dude..Keep rocking..!
To be honest Adsense is loosing it’s sheen over past few months. The CTR and the payment is dropping. Time to put your eggs in different baskets it seems.
P.S. Our main income comes from direct ad banner selling.

So the comments discussion focuses on not totally depending on Adsense right? That is true of course. But Adsense is always a mainstay adnetwork, might as well make the most of it.
Adsense experts agree on one thing: blending the adds. I did a little optimization and decided on soem god ad placements. It just took less than an hour but the revenues will last a lifetime
Yes the discussion concludes with the decision/advise not to depend on Adsense
Thanks for sharing your experience here..Keep rocking..!

More ad unit less cpm and less ad unit more cpm but less CTR.
lesser ad definitely ensure our average earning through Adsense.
if CPM is more we don’t need to bother about CTR right?
Yes, i guess because lesser ad less CTR. but Adsense will show high cpm and cpc ads.
if it not working for you than change it bigger ad.
bigger ad bigger money.
I use to have many Adsense units all over my site, but reduced it to only one which is above the post content. I’m still checking if that is the desired spot to place it.
I remember i wrote a post on best spot for blogging niche blogs..It’s 336X280 image ad on top right of the post..

Google advising publishers to use large ad units and place it in proper place.
Less ads more revenue is not working for me, i have tried the same, using large font is a good technique.
Font should match your content font size..simply going for large will not work i think… Thanks for sharing your thoughts dude..!
Google Advising Bloggers to use, Bigger Ad units, They advising to place it proper, I think you checked the help videos.
Look like I am in a good path. The only problem is that how much is enough for Adsense?
One per page?
I particularly agree on the less ads more revenue one. Even I use only two blocks of Adsense.
The lesser the amount of CPC ads the less confuse the reader will be to choose on to go forward
This post helped me to increase my Adsense revenue
There is an Adsense theory that says, “Adsense Ad Block Quantity Does Matter”.
I may translated it in my own words but I thinks it has the same meaning.
There are blogger that already tried this theory and prove it that it works for them.
They suggest that less ad block on your site more money from adsense you earn.
The theory said that most high paid ads mostly appears on the front page of the ad block. Now, if you try to put more than 3 ad blocks on your blog, you might missed the high paid ad to be click by the users.
Try to add this tips on your adsense ad optimization and tell me how it goes for you.
