Take Your Gmail Backup!
It’s always safe to take backup of what we store online.Agree? I say yes,because we can’t believe the online stores.They may get crash,password loss,hacks,downtimes and what ever may be the reason,finally we loose the data 
Mail box is very important for us! So,today lets take the backup of it and be in safe zone.We have a wonderful application called ‘Gmail Backup’,which will take your Gmail backup and stores in your local machine.I will teach you step by step to take your mail backup.So,follow me Here we Go…
1. Download the application and install on your PC
2. Launch it and provide the Gmail user name,Password,Backup folder to save,From date and To date to take the backup.Once cross check all your details and click on Backup button.Process will starts showing your the progress in MB’s.
3.Once you see Done message,Open you directory where you asked to store.It will show you a detailed folder structure with which year,date and mail.
This is a simple and powerful process to backup all your mails.So,hurry and take your backups

yes many other Tools/apps are there to backup.to be honest i dont use all these tools.i use hotmail as backup to my gmail

No technique here yar
Just i kept forward copy of the mail to my hotmail.so gmail will send every mail copy to hotmail box. So you don’t miss anymail instantly..
Where as here you need to manually take the backup right?

Wow! Upon downloading the application, my PC got restarted and my other works got restarted also…
How sad that there were warnings when the software is downloaded.

That is a great way to backup your GMAIL files manually if you Do all of your email through Gmail website, I happen to use Thunderbird and download all my email via Pop3, so keep all my email files locally and archive them on Google server, so I don’t have to backup my emails from Gmail directly. I wonder if they let you save off Google Buzz messages?
