I can tell you honestly that at this stage in the game there’s no need to submit to search engines. You might want to add their various Webmaster Tools (like Google Webmaster Tools or Bing Webmaster Tools – Yahoo Site Explorer will soon go the way of the buffalo), but there’s no need to “Submit”.

From experience, submitting to engines has virtually no effect on the speed or Quality of the rankings you’ll get for any of the major search engines.

I think no need to submit to all SE, since some SE is using big SE database. So, only submitting to google, and yahoo only

I’m of course Do submitting, but i wonder there is one blog is not indexed yet even after i’m already submit.

Submitting is just to get early results and better results.

As you said it take on its own,but that many take any amount of time.So as a Webmaster its better to Do our job right?

is this still necessary these days? don’t search engines crawl everything anyway? is there a benefit to registering? I have never registered my sites. And a site i created last year is still the number one result for “baghdad documentary”.
