This is a paid Review of a Tech site called ThinkDigit by Nine Dot Nine Media

ThinkDigit is one of the tech sites that I read every day, so when they requested a review, I was more than happy to oblige. Being as a user from longtime,think i can explore much about the site.The following are my thoughts and opinions on the site:

About ThinkDigit:Thinkdigit.com is the online face of Digit magazine, the leading tech magazine in India.And also the number one tech magazine in India as per the Latest IRS survey.

Snap: The design is something different with submenu to main menu bar(with diff color styles) and with cache colors and the designs which looks to be unique and attracting.Specially i love the site loading time and color combinations.

Positive Eye: What i like? Hmm this is dam easy question for me because i had lot to tell in this section. As i told earlier the menu was very impressive with user friendly name and solid content in that.

1. Product Reviews: Detailed review about the digits like Laptops,Mobiles,Players,Cameras,Audio & Video and lot more… I would suggest that cross check here before purchasing any devices.
2. Forum: Forums are common for any site these days,but how effective is that or how many people staying there to address you is the main important question here.ThinkDigit forum is with thousands of active users,where you can get information with in minutes time.Here are some stasts: Threads: 80,199, Posts: 856,674, Members: 53,599, Active Members: 2,511
3. Downloads: ThinkDigit also offering free downloads of software’s which you might found useful.
4. Digital Market: It resembles a real market,You can submit classifieds for free. And also you can buy the products for pretty low price.
5. Other Great Features: Others include useful videos,Tech Q&A section,Digital Tools,Blog watch where you can submit your blog for free to appear on ThinkDigit.

Negative Eye: What i don’t like? Very difficult question But i have some negative impressions & suggestions on the site.

1. Header: I don’t like to see a website using too much space on header for the logo and ads.ThinkDigit having ads between the header logo and the navigation menu,because of this much of the content going down the page and forcing to scroll.
2. Search: Revenue generated from using Google custom search is not much right? ThinkDigit using the Google custom search box,which will give negative impression to the visitor.And also it will take your visitors to other sites with the sponsored links on top.
3. Visitors: My personal opinion is that,its always good to display how many members online and reading the site.Big sites like this should display and attract the users to come back again.
4. Logo: I don’t know reason why the logo is in small letters? To catch the first visitor attention it should be like “ThinkDigit” (Clear to visitor that Think Digit)

Finally: If you want to be up to date with the Tech & Digital world,I recommend to friendship with ThinkDigit. A great and daily updated website.
