Simple Way to Know Exact RSS Count of a Blog..!
Try to know the tips N tricks around, before lying to someone online. Most of you already know about this trick to see how many exact RSS Subscribers a site has. But some small bloggers, who don’t know these tricks trying to act smart with the fake counts on advertise pages.
Seen few new babies advertise pages and found the stats section having RSS count as 1500+ or something big like this. But babies don’t know the trick that we can see their exact count on feedburner. Most of the bloggers (95% we can say), uses blog name as RSS name in feedburner. That’s enough for us to trace them out.
Don’t believe advertise pages or even RSS chicklets/text on sidebars. Just paste this URL in browser and replace the last word “TechZoomIn” with the blog name you want to check the count.
http://feedproxy.google.com/~fc/techzoomin
If you follow a blog, which the author not showing the count on blog, just try this and find how many others following along with you.

This is silly thing for a person who know the things from years but what about those who don’t even know the meaning of RSS feeds. Is blogging is also a silly thing for you?

Love your conversation dude. My silly thing in Comment is to express you that, its not a new trick or something else to bother about. We don’t know that exact founder (It may be feedburner itself) where ever you read previously is also copied from some one else.
Anyway as you said, at least some people will found it helpful right. I’m happy to help in that and satisfied.

There are many plugins out there which can Do the job for you. I never searched for that kind. But planning to write a post sharing all the possible ways.
This is really a good trick.
I guess this trick does not work with Google feed burner feeds!!

No dude, it works only with Google feed burner feeds. Even if your try for old feedburner url, it will redirect to the present one and you’ll get the count.
Nice one you talked about this Lax. Infact I often have a good laugh when I see many who cheat their rss number and don’t even know its so easy to track them lol.
Another thing is that there are many who also cheat their visitors count just to impress others. However they maybe don’t know that an advertiser will not just look at these superficial numbers. The proof and the real stats that matter.
I took nearly one year to get about 170000 visits. However recently I went to read a very new blog (less than one month old) to see that his visitor count is indicating +500000 !
And the articles on the blog were all being posted with wp-omatic plugin if am not wrong lol.
Recently I have been seeing many bloggers who also trick comments! I won’t mention any blog name here but some bloggers tend to write comments themselves using different names and then reply to themselves and so on just as a way to make it appear like they are getting much comments. These things can be easily noticed…specially when you know the blogger/s for long. Maybe you could make a post about these. Is Comment count the only thing important in a blog or are the readers which matter.

Good points you raised dude. RSS and Comments we can track easily by seeing..But there is no exact tool to find the exact/approx traffic for a blog.
That’s the reason people telling all that stats with in one month. Comments are not at all a consideration for blog success. See some top blogs having 50k RSS count, but hey get only 10 to 15 comments per post..What that should be called??

Blog comments are no way a measure for success of the blog
Why not? I think real blog comments will tell you if the blog is successful. An article with no Comment means its not interesting as opposed to article with 10 comments.

But that needs feedcount to be enabled! I checked it with my blog! It now has about 40 reader but I haven enabled the count yet! So it was showing that “Feed count needs to be enabled”!

I think it’s on the setting on the google proxy. I don’t what google proxy means but it’s just my doubt of my observation.

The name of this blog is Earn Money At Home
I think, it’s not the title or name of the blog. It might be the name of the domain. [SighNetDollars]
You need to look with the name of your feed in feedburner. Say for TechZoomIn.com i burned the feeds with name TechZoomIn, so i can get that count with the formula.
If you burn it with TZI, then you have look with TZI name. Hope u got now

Google/Feedburner will find out about this and you may end up going from 2500 fake readers back to 40 real readers overnight. That would be crushing. Instead we should all trade ways to increase real read
