I never tried of business cards till now. But am making one site, under which all my other sites will work. I’m planning to get business cards on that site name
Isn’t this a bit expensive? Here in our country, it will cost you around 6.5 dollars for a 100 pieces business card.
I don’t know if business card is so expensive on your country. Maybe it’s premium design? I’m sure there is shop which sell it more cheaper, just look for it

I’ve been on a blogger meet. We Do this quite a lot and we became friends offline. Although we have never thought of a multi-author blog since the sharing of revenue is quite complicated.
It’s quite easy now with Adsense revenue sharing program. All that depends on the business you want to start and people you join hands.
I believe meeting new bloggers will be the best way to promote. BTW nice post.
That is only the best way to promote really
Hi, lax this can be an good idea. I think once you established at least you should invest some money in offline adverts. Like banners, cards, some small meet to promote blogging. providing mouse pads. Dairy etc.
Mouse pads will be the effective & affordable things to start with. Thanks for your comments dude..!
Hmm i’m quite doubt about the effectivity of mouse pad. Because when it’s used, even URL written on the mouse pad will get no attention, because people focus on the monitor
Promoting blog through visiting cards will be helpful to gain few readers .
That should work in this software filled world.
Promoting ur blog offline will require us to spend money
True, but you need to spend little share from your earnings

Of course, bro…And that what’s called as investment. All you need here is to choose the right media and advertising strategies to make Maximum impact with minimum budget. Be creative..!!!
I wonder does advertisement work for blog promotion? I’ve seen many advertisement on the wall out there, most of them are Promoting their products.
I’ve never done any promotion for my blog offline, but my friends did ask me about my blog, and I just told them my blog URL. I’ve never purposely promoted my blog offline before, it’s worth trying.
Regards,
Lee
We can’t Do afford wall or hoarding promotions..But we can do small things like cards or t-shirts to lucky readers…Like that…I’m going to give few t-shirts for some reader out here
I think Gift goodies is the best idea, especially Tshirt having your brand name, it is long lasting and reminding, anyways, nice article to read.
I’m planning to give few t-shirts for some reader out here
when will u announce that contest nd u r from???
Hope you read my contest post. It starts from 1st October, and no ending as of now..Winners will be awarded every month. Just click on the sidebar contest banner and read in detail. You can read about me in my About page
Yup i have read ur that post but in that u r giving money for commenting nd not T-shirts
Am giving money at that contest. But am planning to give t-shirts very soon..Well that would be other contest or something like that
I found the gifting goodies a good idea. Also if your blog is earning well then you can sponsor the college events . wat say??
Hmm sponsoring college events can be only if you get $1k + monthly. Its good idea really
Thanks Lax for appreciating my ideas
I am waiting for the t-shirt contest from your blog
Thanks dude..Am just drawing a plan of design and printing company
Will see how it goes
ok , all the best for that also
On marketing term, that’s called as brand activation. Your idea about gifting goodies is so interesting and unique. But we should think of the target to make it efficient.
For example, if our blog is about internet business, maybe it’s better to become a sponsor and gifting goodies for student on internet business course. There is so many offline e-business course, right?
Another example, if your blog is about dog. You can become a sponsor and gifting goodies on a dog contest in your city.
One of the things which I follow is that, whenever anyone asks me any doubt related to blogging or how to go about any internet problem and If I have written a similar article on my blog, I just ask that person to visit my blog and get the solution rather than me telling him the solution personally.
This has given rise to a lot of mouth-to-mouth publicity of my blog.
Promote a Blog Offline (In India)metro city or in city like Indore are good choice but in small town or small city its not a good choice. Promoting offline is good but in small city most of the people don’t understand English and they never become your loyal reader because this people just clicked on your ad and they just leave from your blog without reading any of your article..
i know it also depend on your blog Niche.but i don’t think in India promoting offline is a very good idea.another better way then this is to use adword and try to promote blog with it.
I’ve never advertised my blog offline other than word of mouth. It seems quite expensive compared to online marketing techniques available.
Do you think it’s easier to advertise online or offline, and which one yields better results?
Can we add 1 more techniques? It’s by put a sticker which state your blog name on public transportation? Of course, that’s after we get permission from the owner.
It’s called by transit advertising.
Hehe, have you ever done that akira? It’s a nice idea, as long as people haven’t forgotten your url after their journey.
Of course it’s depend on what’s written on that sticker. Put the interesting offer and advertising word, and people will surely remember and open the url when their are online
I’m not use this technique yet since i’m not confident to request for permission from the transportation owner.
Offline promotion via newspaper advertisements is something I want to explore but then it’s quite pricey if I want to advertise on one of the major dailies. I’m planning on going small then see how things go from there. $20 for one day seems okay for me. If I garner enough traffic to my sales page/blog from that, then I might consider putting in some more cash to dine with the big dailies.
Major newspaper still too general, i think. Choose the spesific offline media to advertise your site is more better.
For example if you want to advertise about Music site, you better advertising on music magazine. Please be noticed that it will more expensive, BUT more effective and efficient.
I like the t-shirt idea..We can print blog name/URL on the t-shirt…It is most visible for people to see
