Yes. If you find any relevant picture you should consider to put in your post. It has much advantages. Bring traffic through image search and like folks say..picture can give 101 meanings

Your site loading sucks, if your Images have large amount of bits.

You can Do editing the image and compress it to some photo editing software like adobe photoshop.

The weight of the image depends on its Quality and sizes.

Make that you don’t put more than 2 images on each article you have in your blog post.

Images will only indexed or crawled by search engine, if your image having a search engine friendly codes.

Search engine can’t define your image if you only use img src tag.

So, be sure to put a information on your image through alt tags so that search engine could categories what is your image about.

You can also used alt text in your image for your keyword promotion but I don’t think it is a good idea. What Do you think?

Earlier i was not using image in my blog, but i have started using simple Images created by me only, which really help reader in order to quickly see what the article is all about.

Hi Jeremy Day ,

It wouldn’t be a hard rule. But for user interaction and look & feel.
I dont think it will take more than 5min to find an Images in this web world with help of many image searches

Any way i will agree with you till some extent.Again it’s upto the authors who is writing articles.

Hi Lax,

I would say that if it takes you longer than 5 minutes to find an image you are wasting too much time on it. This may be a hard and fast rule but what are people on your site for anyway? The words, right?! Unless you are a photographer you shouldn’t worry too much about photos.

Good point. i agree as you said load time increases.

But i recommend to use relevant time and with as min size as much.

I agree that Images are important and worth. But your site loading time sucks here.
