Organize Series:Plugin to Maintain Series of Posts
Starting/having a series of posts published under some name? Something like my 1500 WordPress themes series. If yes, here we have an awesome plug-in which will help you in managing and presenting the series better and better to your readers.
The organize Series plugin helps with the organization and presentation of articles/posts you write as part of a series. It helps make it easier for readers of your blog to discover all the series you’ve written and also to easily find post that are part of the same series.
Organize Series actually adds a new taxonomy to the WordPress taxonomy structure so your blog would have “categories”, “tags”, and “series” as the taxonomy types.
The outcome will look something like this:
When you open the post, you will find a box on top right of the post showing all the other posts in series.Like as above sample. You can download the plugin here and visit developers site for more details and support.
So, reader can find all the posts in the series without looking archives or somewhere else.Useful right? Share you thoughts ! Happy Blogging!

So, will the plugin only add the box? If we Do not need the box, then I think it’s better to do it manually rather than using the plugin. What do you say?

Not only box,It will add the previous posts of the series at the end of the post.Like <>
We can remove that box even though. Using this will help to find all the posts at one place. If the series contains below 10 posts it better to deal with manual effort.
But if it contains above 10 or 20, then its better to go for this plugin. My 1500 WordPress series contains 30 parts (30*50=1500)
Finally its useful for author to administrate and to readers to find easily.
Awesome plugin. Good question that read2know asked. How to remove that box on top right.
If we can remove, that would be great. because if as you said,if you have 20 parts… the box will look ugly on right side. Right?

Dude i don’t know how to remove that box. Good point you raised,if i post 30 parts then it sucks to see that box with 30 links

Dang, I should have known about this earlier
I have my own crude ways of organizing the series posts… Many times, my way of doing it falls prey to Google’s duplicate content discovery methods because of the reused names in titles.
Let me check it out.

But i think by using related post plugin is more easy..when we inserting tag it will show the post that has same tag.
we can also make the link to series manually
