If someone want to read reviews about any product or service he will surely go to search engine rather than going to any social media website. Social media can drive traffic to your website but search engine plays vital role in directing traffic to your website.
#2 Websites which Gives you Traffic Instantly
You will find lots of websites which will give you guarantee that they will help you to get huge traffic and that too in one or two days. But think twice before getting stuck to such websites because no one has such magic stick which can drive targeted traffic to your blog in one day. They might offer you great discounts to send traffic to your website or might give free tips but you should stay away from such websites. You can only get Quality traffic if you are working smartly on your promotional activity of your website.
#3 Submission to Search Engines and Directories are Enough
This is total myth, only submitting your website to search engines or online directories is not effective and can’t give you the results which you were expecting. You have to plan other marketing strategies also to build traffic to your website. Marketing needs lots of creative and innovation work, you can’t just follow steps which others tell you. Submitting your websites in directories by paying money, doesn’t mean that you will get enough traffic. You can build traffic with lots of other free marketing tactics.

1st and 3rd is Do give traffic, but what Lax mean, is don’t depend too much of it.

but still 80% of my traffic come from direct traffic, only 10% percent from search engine.. need to improve in that one though..
Direct traffic in my opinion is the less important traffic. Organic or search engine traffic is the most important ones.
Not really bad if their come from advertising, it’s mean targetted also, but well, i’m agree if organic one still the best. It’s targetted, free, and indicator your site is good on SERP and SEO.

Ever read about buying traffic in this blog also, but i forget which article is it.
Just an opinion, why paying if you can get something for free? Do SEO, catch traffic from search engine. If your site is depend only by ads or social media, it’s sign that you’re not professional as website owner.

So, now search engine is better than social media, and we’re all agree of it. That’s mean we should put more concentration on SEO, to make our position on SERP is good and then organic traffic is come.
The question is, Do you think have good SERP without advertising is waste?
Because good SERP is not mean you’re on 1st or 2nd or 3rd position of certain keyword, i think placed on 2nd or 3rd page also mean good SERP.
