As days have passed gadgets have improved a lot. Specially the mobile phones have taken a great foot forward. Almost all of them are capable of internet browsing these days. As a result of this more and more people are accessing websites using their mobile devices. So it has been a growing need for all the webmasters that they design their blogs or websites optimized for the mobile phones.

Well thanks to the WP platform & all those plugin developers that makes our blogging experience a more sweeter one. I’m enlisting some of the great WP plugins that helps us make our blogs mobile friendly as well as helps web-masters access their blog admin panel from their mobile devices.

#1. Mofuse

Well I personally use this one to mobilize my blog. Its an awesome tool that offers perhaps the most number of awesome features needed for a mobile version of a blog.

• Optimises your blog for all kinds of mobile devices including iPhone.
• It allows you to show Adsense ads on mobile version of your blog.
• It has analytics support too.

#2. WordPress Mobile Edition

Authored by Crowd Favorite this is a simple plugin to get your job done. The mobile visits are automatically detected. You can customize the list of mobile browsers on the settings page.

#3. WordPress Mobile Pack

Authored by James Pearce, dotMobi, and team. This is also another versatile mobile plugin that has more features than the mofuse plugin

• Gives mobile users options for different themes to choose from.
• Provides analytics support.
• You can access admin panel and Do stuffs like approving comments, updating comments from your mobile too.

#4. iPhone / Mobile Admin

Authored by jaredbangs, dancameron. This plugin is primarily dedicated for the web-masters to handle their WP-admin panel from their mobile phone. They support most common Wp features like

• Dashboard sections: Incoming Links, Comments, Posts, Blog Stats.
• Writing and editing posts (including auto-save).
• Tagging support in 2.3.
• Comment Moderation.
• Manage Posts page.
• Manage Profile page.
• Ability to toggle back and forth to the normal admin view.
• Support for plugins that include fields on the post page.
• Compatibility with existing library of admin plugins.

#5. Mowser Wordpress Mobile

Authored by Mike Rowehl. This plugin is very much like the WordPress Mobile Pack(mentioned in step 3). It supports all the features as mentioned in the previous plugin. It is pretty stable plugin.

#6. Wetomo Wordpress plugin

The plugin is basically a modification of Mike Rowehl’s Mowser plugin. Once installed it will detect whether a mobile phone accesses your WordPress site and if so it will reload the page to use Wetomo as proxy.

Well thats all for now. Though there are many more plugins that could be found that serves the purpose for us to optimize our blog for mobile phonesmonitor our admin panel from our mobile devices, but those were the ones I used myself & found all of them pretty stable & working fine.
