Don’t focus on problem but a target. If you need another 10,000pts, don’t see the number of “10,000″ but divide it into more easy job :

Day 1 : target to get 20 pts
Day 2 : target to get 25 pts
.
.
.
Day 10 : target to get 50 pts

Sometime in a contest which have refferal system, i pay my contact list for $0.15 if their join via my link
