First and the foremost thing you have to do after registering into SU is to find out people with similar kind of interests as you and build up a good relationship with them. If they have got a blog on the same topic as yours, then it’s best. Once you are successful in Building up good number of friends there, you can start sharing your articles with them using SU toolbar. Do you get 15 visits from SU on an average? Thats already an excellent stat. I’m lucky if I get 10 average. Usually I only get 5 but since I also get 200 plus sometimes a day, it ups my average.

I still not utilize all stumble potential.. after read some other post that they say they get 3000-5000 traffic just from stumbleupon, I sure stumble really is effective way.
Where you get that data? 3000 traffic from SU is need a lot of time to build Reputation and circle of friend on there.
StumbleUpon is the most source of traffic to my blog (Next is from Twitter, Google, Mixx).
It’s a little difficult to understand how SU works, it’s not like other voting systems such as Reddit, Digg or Mixx when we can play the system easily once we have big profiles.
StumbleUpon algorithm is much more fair and after years using it, I just can say one thing: The more time we spend on it, the more traffic we will get.
Follow your tips here and be patience, it will drive tons of traffic.

I dont get much traffic from Stumble Upon. Some people get great traffic, but it’s always a mystery how people get so much traffic.

I don’t get that much from Stumble but from time to time I get traffic spikes from it. 3 times now I got more than 100 visits from SU in one day. The highest in 176. But on usual day it only about 3 to 5.
I never tried stumble upon. Can anyone explain further on this? Thank you. I have tried digg, mybloglog, linkreferral, myspace and Facebook to drive traffic to my blogs. I also use realmaxtop to view site traffic. Besides that, by leaving comments on other peoples blog, I also get traffic from these. But the traffic is not that much. Hope this stumble upon can help and appreciate explanation from anyone.
