How Many of Your Pages Indexed at Google?

How many of your blog pages indexed at Google? All your organic traffic depends on this factor. What this mean “Web traffic which comes from unpaid listing at search engines or Directories is commonly known as “organictraffic”. The more your pages indexed, the more organic traffic you will receive. So what you need to Do here.First check where you are standing and how many of your pages were already indexed by Google.By doing this you will get an outline picture of total how many pages you have and out of which how many are already indexed. Here we go on how to check all this…

Analyze search engines: I just searched on finding better steps to do this and found the following simple syntaxes.First we go with the top search engine Google:

1. Google:Use each of the below search terms to find additional information about how you’re indexed on Google and who is linking to you.

  • site:www.techzoomin.com techzoomin – List each of the pages on your domain currently indexed on Google. This is a great way to determine how many entry points you have into your website. The more entry points the more likely a visitor is going to visit your web page.
  • link:http://www.techzoomin.com – Shows you pages linking to your web page. In this example this also includes your own pages linking to your own site.
  • link:http://www.techzoomin.com -site:techzoomin.com – In this example you will get results of all pages linking to your web page except for links on your own domain.

2. AltaVista: See the same results in AltaVista popular and old search engine

  • url://http://www.techzoomin.com – Shows you the URLs AltaVista currently has listed on its search engine.
  • link://http://www.techzoomin.com – Shows you the URLs of pages AltaVista has in its search engine that link to your web page.

3. Yahoo!: Using the following syntax you can find your pages indexed at Yahoo search engine

  • site:techzoomin.com- List each of the pages on your domain currently indexed on Yahoo. This is a great way to determine how many entry points you have into your website. The more entry points the more likely a visitor is going to visit your web page.
  • url:http://techzoomin.com/blogroll- You can also do a URL restricted search using the format “url:” This instructs Yahoo! Search to find a specific document in the index.

There are many other search engines to check, but these 3 are the popular where you need to concentrate.By then you must have checked your stats at search engines,So what to do if you have less amount there.I will collect and write a separate post with the title “How to increase your organic traffic”.

I am very happy that TechZoomIn got above 40 pages indexed at Google :) .What’s you count at Google?  Share with us! Happy Blogging!
