Got banned from Google Index-Here’s what you can do!
Drop in the search engine traffic is always a threat for most of the webmasters, this may also mean that Google Banned or penalized your site from the Google Index. If you are a Webmaster I’m sure you would probably know the definition for Google Index but, there are lot of folks out there who still needs this info.
Here is a definition of Google Index to the best of my knowledge “Google Index is the process of storing information that is collected from different blogs and websites in Google’s database”. This may not be the exact definition but idea behind the scene is the same.
So, what if search engine giant ban you from Google Index?
Well before you know that, you certainly have the need to know the difference between Google penalty and Google ban. You can find the info in one of my previous articles “What Exactly Google Penalty is? How to prevent it?” Where I explained the basic difference between Google ban and Penalty. Now that you know the difference between Google Ban and penalty it’s time to check if your blog or website is banned or penalized.
To find out all you need to Do is to type the following “Site:techzoomin.com” in www.google.com, replace URL of my blog with the URL of your blog or website. If you find your site is still listed in Google then there’s no need to worry much this may mean Google penalized your blog not banned. In case you don’t find it then I’m afraid to say that you may have been banned.
So, what to do if you are banned?
Well the only way you can escape a Google ban or Google penalty is by Requesting reconsideration using Google Webmaster Tools. But before you make a reconsideration request take some time to know why Google banned or penalized you. Make sure that you corrected all the mistakes you have done previously. Here is an article ( Why Google Penalizing Bloggers? How to Avoid? ) that can help you track the Reasons why Google penalizes blogs and this would be same in case of websites too.
After reading that article make necessary corrections that your blog or websites needs. Once you finish all the necessary changes then request for reconsideration using Google Webmaster Tools.
Here is a video that illustrates how to make a reconsideration request at Google webmaster tools.

Hey Sandeep,
That’s what everybody thinks…NO one should be fall in that.. Thanks for your comments dude..
None of the webmasters like to get penalized or ban from google.
Nice information LAX.
I am happy to see that im not penalized.it was my misbelief that i got penalized.GOOGLE GOD is happy with my website.lol
Hmm thank god you’re safe..Thanks for sharing that info dude..
If I search for mydomainname.com I can see the domain listed in SERP results. If I search for link:mydomainname.com I don’t see it.
Does that mean I’m Banned? or the site is relatively new and not indexed yet?
No that does not mean you are Banned!!
Just go with the syntax site:domainname.com and if you cannot find your blog or site in the results page, then I’m afraid to tell u that may be banned.
However, the syntax link:domainname.com would actually fetch you Quality back links to your sites. It is said that Google only displays quality back links for the above syntax . If you have good number of results for the above syntax, that would mean that you have good quality links to your blog which might get you good pagerank in the future.
Thanks for the information here Vamsi.
I think the syntax should be site:yourdomainname.com to check whether it is Banned or not instead of link:yourdomainname.com.
Yes that’s true..thanks for heads up dude..changed in the post
Sorry guys..

Thanks for the information Lax. I wish i will never get Banned.
That’s what everyone pray… Good this helps you some way!
Great post. this will be helpful for those who are Banned or penalized and want to get out of this.
Yes that’s my intention to educate/help the TZI visitors to get out of that ban/penality zone.
Good to know that there is a way around a ban. Sometimes people get Banned unfairly. I’ve never been banned, and hope to keep it that way.
Most of the cases its unfair..
Yeah, but on the other hand, there are some people who actually did something to deserve to be Banned. But you’re right — a large majority are unfair.
Yes when i say unfair..i mean that its without the knowledge of blogs author…
That’s the reason we should block the suspected IP’s
Yeah, I completely agree with you. Getting Banned should only be done if Google is 100% sure you were at fault. Some people depend on Google for their income.
