Don’t link Blog success with Comments!
This is a dynamic post generated from a question by a reader. After reading my last article 10 Simple ways to Get More Comments some of my readers mailed me asking, is that important to get more comments in order to show our success? I said no. Don’t link your success with comments. Getting comments depends on many factors like:
- Did you asked any question at the end of your article
- Did you asked them to share or suggest some thing
- This depends on all the 10 ways I wrote in previous article
I noticed many blogs that are succeeded in getting traffic but not in comments. Comments are not that important here. Only the target line should be attracting visitors to come back again. Comments are a way to invite visitors back, but that is not the only way here. Even you might have observed some successful sites getting single digit comments. The Reasons for not getting comments can be:
- You don’t have friendly Comment form
- Not asking readers to share
- Like this the list goes on….
So don’t compare your blog success with getting comments. Happy Blogging!

Comment could gain you notification from some bloggers (high profiled or not).
But you can Do comments to let the author of a high profiled bloggers (like Darren Rowse and Yaro Starak) noticed you that you are their.
From time to time, you might get featured by the author and you could gain Reputation as a good blogger that could end up your site get much traffic or http://www.techzoomin.com/simple-firefox-plugin-to-get-back-all-your-unverified-subscribers-into-feedburner-count/“>Subscribers because of this recommendation.
Sounds impossible right? But it was already realized by Caroline Middlebrook of http://www.caroline-middlebrook.com/blog/
She got featured by Yaro Starak and Darren Rowse.
Number of Comment didn’t determined the successful of the blog..
