I’ve been waiting for this contest to start for about a week now, I’m glad lax started it today. Now, I seriously feel that there should be some reward to one person who adds value added comments rather than good number of comments. Lax, please take value added comments to consideration and give something to him/her.

Well, now it would be great if you can give a bonus point for a value added comment rather than giving cash price. You can select a best comment for each post (for the comments posted with in 24 hours) and can award the bonus point for one value added comment posted for that respective article.
Note: Bonus point should be given to a single comment per article, this type of practice would result in great responses from fellow bloggers and friends!!
Good one though it conflicts the publicity made till now and imposes confusion in bloggers. I feel its very risky to impose all those now..Lets see for a month or 2, then we get innovative ideas to make this competition better and better.
I don’t have any plans to end this competition at least for 6 months from now (And i want to double the cash prize very soon). But lets see how it goes..
I strongly agree with India 365, that would be a great idea of giving bonus point to the best added Comment in every single post, this would be more fair and you won’t be getting tons of comment (perhaps some of them are just spamming).
Anyway, I believe that you can see how’s the progress and you can make some changes on the rules of this contest to improve it.

Its a good Idea but the first few commentators on a post will be at advantage. The commentator who comes late would have nothing much to add uless they are intelligent and not spamming.
I think for this month, just approving good comments is good Idea.

Its violating the guidelines to show that count, as i don’t want the commentators to overlap each other just for count.
My intention is to build relationship not the Comment count
So just try communication with fellow bloggers, ask them questions, answer to their questions.
