Beware of Guest Bloggers…!!
Guest blogging is powerful these days to earn money,traffic and fame on blogosphere.Apart from maintaining their blogs,many bloggers are going for guest blogging too.But some bad dogs misusing the
same media & method to earn money,traffic,links and some other benefits by pulling your blog to down stairs.
I have good respect towards guest blogging and bloggers,even i wrote an article explaining the usefulness and Importance of guest blogging.I allow guest bloggers to my blogs and am also a guest blogger on some blogs.But who are those bad dogs and how they are misusing or depreciating the guest blogging concept.Here we go further with all the stuff…
Let me take you to:
- Who are these bad dogs?
- What hell they are doing?
- How to escape from this?
Bad Dogs: Considerable amount of the guest bloggers are bad dogs.Why? How? They are the smart people prepare articles by copying content from different blogs on same topic to prepare a single article.This way they will escape from the loyal authors of that blogs,because normally we will ignore the people who copy some lines/excerpt.Apart from this copy and prepare formula,they will submit the same article to multiple bloggers with some time gap of months or weeks or with some changes in content.
Hell they Do: This is a serious question and difficult to answer as well.As i said before,they will earn something out of that by submitting that copied content and that too submitting to multiple blogs.Till then somewhat fine,but apart from loosing money,fame,trust from your daily readers,you will also may get slapped by search engines,page ranks and alexa ranks just because of having duplicate/copied content on your blog.Do remember taking slaps is nothing but your blog career pulled down in terms of value/Quality.
Escape: All this depends on your cautiousness towards your blogging quality.Think and investigate twice before opening door to a guest blogger.Here will share some tips which i know/gathered/learned 
- Prepare a guest page explaining your requirement and actions towards duplicates found
- Recommended to have a guest blogging agreement if its paid service
- Read the submitted article twice
- Google it for the same type of article/content
- Cross check with Social Bookmarking sites like Digg,Delicious and etc…
- Take serious if you got any mails saying its duplicate
- Be inform to your friends network,if you faced any situation like this.With this you will at least save your friends from that guy.
- Don’t allow republication,even they got the proper permissions–By TestingJobsGuide

Here is my tip:
Don’t allow republication,even they got the proper permissions.
Many of the guest bloggers will hold the republication rights and will be sharing it with multiple blogs.Need to prevent this too.
Guest blogging is profitable some ways and at the same time it will kill your PR if its duplicate.
Its like coin game
First examin the blog of that guy who is submitting articles to you.That way you can decide how Quality he is and then decide to accpet or reject.

Good one you observed.but this is basic no one need to tell you that right.obviously if some one approached to guest blogging.you will look at his site and the Quality.

wow, good tips man, guess blogger can give us some benefit but it also can give us negative effect, hmm nice post. so before to pick any guess blogger think properly or it’s batter if that guess blogger is our friends.

I think you need to make it clear to guest bloggers that they are not allowed to republish the post anywhere else or it will be removed. Preparing a page to specify your requirements is a good way to minimize such cases. You noted a good point Lax.

Well said, also guess blogging will affect the normal flow, but there are exceptions like JohnChow. His blog is mostly filled with guest blog content.. If he blogs, it will be awesome post or else a dirty crap – where he went, what he ate…

Yeh, guest blogging is great for self-promotion but if you accept guest bloggers, it may be risky.
I am fearful that I may be held liable for some ripped-off content, because no matter how hard you search, the web is a large place. Regardless, the content could come from some print material.
Additionally, I’d want a unique article that hasn’t been plastered all over the net.
So for now, I am hesitant to allow guest posting on my blogs.
I usually Do guest blogging but I don’t submit a duplicated articles because this might hurt your Reputation as a good blogger.
I’ve been invited to guest blog is several blogs now but I don’t feel like doing it because I don’t even have enough time to manage my own blogs what more about guest blogging because it take a lot of responsibility than writing for my own blog.
