Twitter is one of the most popular social networking sites these days. This post will tell you about the Tools that lets you share your favorite Music on Twitter.

Tinysong: It is a very simple tool that lets you share music on Twitter. It is a basic URL shortener. The main glitch is that you have to search for songs in the library & choose one to share on Twitter. It also offers an API which lets developers integrate it in any application.

Twisten.fm: It is somewhat like Tinysong. It also lets you share music from the Grooveshark library. In addition to that, it allows you to share songs directly from the site. It provides a timeline which lets you see what your friends are listening to.

Song.ly: This is a very neat tool that is powered by the Russian media search engine Tagoo. You search and choose the song & then just press the tweet button. A shortened URL for the song provided by song.ly is put in the tweet field. Now type your words & you are done.

Twiturm: Twiturm stands for “Twit ur music”. This is the most fabulous tool for musicians & artists. It lets you upload audio files & provides a link(that links to the Twiturm player page) to that File to share in Twitter. Like other tools you can also search and link to existing tracks. It also keeps stats on the activity of the song like downloads & plays.

Musebin: This is a tool that lets you search & share shortened links to albums as a whole. The URL uses a non-standard(but meaningful) character. The links provides relevant information like release, record label, cover art, links to additional info on the album.

imeem: This allows you to share music that you are listening to in the imeem music sharing website. You can also share it on other popular networks like Facebook, MySpace etc. Imeem provides a vast gallery of song which means, it is more likely to find your songs of choice there.

Those are the tools that are the most useful ones as per me. Though you can find tons of them if you hit a search in Google. You can pick your choice from them too.

Some of them that need at least a mention here are Twittytunes which is a plugin for browsers like Firefox & Flock, or Songtwit are also good.
