#1 Twitter Handle
Your Twitter handle appears on Search Results and it should be Search Engine optimized. So choose your Twitter handle wisely. It should be related to your blog, your brand or your name at least. For example if you are having a Music Blog then you can probably use twitter handle starting with Music.
#2 Twitter Bio
Most of them Avoid this. But it is actually a meta description. So make sure to include some related keywords in it.

Though it does not add much to the PR, it helps you to get some organic traffic to your blog/site. Always use the same profile picture across all the networks. It helps your brand to get popular!

URL shorteners like TinyURL, bit.ly, and tr.im redirects users to the real URL by 301 Redirect and they provide backlinks to your original content. By this method search engines will only index TinyURL links, but they will pass PR to the actual URLs used instead.
If the URL is small you can use your links without shortening them.
#8 Use Hash Tags
Hashtag will help others to find the content easily. You can simply put a hash (#) before your keywords and that will help your tweet to appear in search results.
#9 Author Bio
Write guest articles in high PR blogs and include your Twitter profile in the Author Bio section. It will optimize and increase your profile’s PageRank.
Retweet the links which are related to your blog’s niche. If not, don’t Do it unless they are valuable to your followers. Connect Twitter with as many social networks as possible. By this you can automatically share the tweets easily.
