Many of the bloggers use Windows Live writer (WLW) to write and publish their posts. For those who are not familiar with the software, I should tell you that it’s a product developed by Microsoft. It is a desktop blog-publishing application that is part of the Windows Live range of products.

Here, I will tell you the 8 best plugins that you can use with WLW to work on it in an easier and efficient way. This plugin will also help you to Reduce the time you spent on writing the articles.
#1 – Embed Youtube or Google Videos along with your post
EmbedVideo is a plugin which generates the HTML code needed to embed a YouTube or Google Video into your Windows Live Writer driven post. The process of Embedding the video is very simple. Click the “Insert Video Clip” entry in the Insert menu on the sidebar or the Insert menu dropdown. Select whether you’re going to use YouTube or Google Video and enter the clip ID. You find the clip ID “hidden”, or embedded, in the URL of the video you were watching. You are done.
#2 – Insert Images from Flickr in an easy way
Simple-flickr-insert plugin helps you to easily insert images from flickr to your posts. It doesn’t provide tag-based search or selectable sets. You just need to enter a user name. The images from that user are shown one by one in a small window. Once you have found an image you click the insert button. It inserts a rather large uncommon size. Width or height, depending on the photo, is 400px.

When the time comes you hit Insert Text Template, select the appropriate template and it’s done.

Hi Lax..
It has been a month I didn’t leave a Comment here. So much thing happened lately and I’m quite busy with my final exam plus I don’t have internet connection installed at my new home.
Regarding the post above, I’m a windows live writer user. It is an awesome software and easy to use. But I don’t use any plugin as you meantioned because I feel the software itself has a lot of built-in functions.
Anyway, thanks for sharing, might be helpful who want to use windows live writer

For this post I just want to say that “#6 – No need to type the same Link over and over again” WLW by default gives a “Automatically add this link” option which does the same job!
