The point 3 is very important. Most readers have basic instinct of clicking logo of blog to reach home page. So this point needs to be followed.

For Point ” 8 ” use Xenu, its better to find broken links.

Thanks Anish.
I’ve never tried Xenu but I would like to recommend “Broken Link Checker” for WordPress. A free plugin which will search through all of your posts automatically a few times a week to make sure you have no broken links.

I will be Do that, this is good Lax and I agree with you about the widget, because if you have to many widgets on you blog it’s will increase your loading time….
Agree about widget, choose the priority and commonly used widget only such top commentator, recent articles, and subscribsion box.
There is many interesting widget such zodiak or google news, but i’m not sure visitor will get attention of it.
#3 is such a big one, and it’s so annoying when that is not active on someone’s blog and they don’t have a HOME link.
But it’s rarely happen. Mostly blogger already notice this matter and make homepage link in their logo.
But i’m agree, if there is a case, blogger forgot to make their logo redirect to blog homepage, it’s so annoying and big mistake.
yes this is important and we have to take care for this point.
It’s simple but killer, like a mosquito.

Or is it related to SEO purpose?
