You can also use Forums to build links. You can use the singnature area to link to your blog. These two method allows you use the keyword you want to target. Additionally you can also buy links but I do not advice it.

#2 Get links from High Page-rank Site

If possible try getting links from websites which have high page ranks. One of best ways to do so is by submitting your website to Directories. There are thousands of them. Do submit your website to Yahoo, Dmoz etc. Also bookmark your website/web-pages on Bookmarking sites.

#3 Build links which are Permanent and Indexed

Whenever you are Building links you need to make sure the links will be permanently there and not vanish after few days. Also you have to make sure the page linking to your website are Indexed on search engine. If they are not indexed they have no value.

#4 Link to Internal Pages as well

Do not just build back-links to you website homepage. Sometime build link to individual pages too. It increase the overall value of your website. Also helps search engines to determine the best pages on your website.

#5 Do not Build Reciprocal link

Whenever possible Avoid building reciprocal link. It decreases the value of the link. It creates a loop thus the link juice revolves in a virtual loop.
