20 Questions to Answer Before Starting New Blog
These questions are applicable to all the bloggers, irrespective of new/experienced/niche/language.We are seeing so many new blogger coming into the field and many existing bloggers are launching new project under their network.Before launching every new blog/project,author himself should answer some of the question.Here are those…
By answering the following questions yourself,you will get blueprint/outline of the project,aim,what to Do,what not to do and etc…Ultimately success will follow you!
- Decide Niche and Topics to cover?
- Who is your Audience?
- A good Domain name
- Best and Cheap Hosting
- Platform to use(WordPress,TypePad,etc…)?
- Good looking free/premium Theme
- Single author blog OR Group editing blog?
- If single author,how much time you can spend on this blog?
- How often should you post?
- If group editing,how many bucks you can spend?
- SEO and Promotion on own?
- If YES,How much time you can spend to learn and deploy them?
- If No,Budget to Employ some one?
- Can you transfer readers to your other blogs?(If you already have blogs)
- Can you transfer advertisers to your other blogs?(If you already have blogs)
- Goals for next couple of months?
- Exit criteria?(In which conditions you want shutdown the blog)
- How much money/time you can spend before start earning from the blog?
- Know your competitors/friends?
- Long term Goal set for blog?
There may be many other questions if we go into deep,but these are the basic questions one should think/answer before proceeding on the plan.

Here is my suggestion,If you have budget or Friends and maintenance capacity group editing blogs will work well.

Num 1 is most important and heart of the blog right. It will take days of time

I prefer to start group editing with my friends.That way we can push content fastly.
Good questions lax.One should answer all these before starting basic blog.Of course depending on your niche and project the question may add.

Definitely Mark. You shouldn’t publish someones personal details without their permission.
Some of the quesitons cannot be answer till you start blogging..Some peoples don’t know their strentgh till they make an effort
