1 is Ok! 2 is Good!! More than that Hurts?
How often should you blog is the old question,How many posts per day is the new trend.Yes,How many posts you’re pushing into your blog daily? How many your readers comfortable to read? How many posts competitors are pushing? What is the impact? All these are important questions to build strong readership.
Blindly pushing over content is waste of time,it doesn’t pays you for the time you invested.Think from readers perspective,Do you like to follow and read 10 or 20 posts daily.Usually majority people doesn’t like this concept.They don’t spend time only for your site.Again it depends on your own niche.
Usually from my personal experience tech sites can have 4 to 5 article daily,where as blogging sites recommended to have 1 or 2 daily.This will save your time,adds value to your hard work and grabs the reader attention.Here is my vision…
1 is OK! : As far as blogging niche is concerned,1 post daily is Ok and even good you can say to build strong readership from your end and to get good RSS count.Subscribers won’t feel bad to receive and read single article daily.It will save your time and readers time as well.They won’t feel you’re annoying them.
2 is Good!! : Blogging or Tech what ever may be the niche,2 posts daily make sense.Formula works well with at least one strong and unique article in that.Max number of people comfortable with receiving and reading 2 per day.Your hard work will get good exposure here, as readers will concentrate on at least one post from that two as per their interests.
More than that Hurts? : I hope most of the people answer yes for this question.I don’t like to read more than 2 posts on single blog daily.I will get hard feeling to follow that blog,In busy situations i don’t even open the blog at all.Usually people push too much content when they have too much time to spend on blog or if they are very talented enough to write articles in minutes time.
But if you fall under this category,better to spend that time/talent to build one more site under your network to improve your business circle. Also you can spend that time to make some money as freelancer or SEO consultant or something like this online.
Conclusion: Don’t waste your time and talent by spending all your efforts at one place.Learn and try different things,definitely one or the other will drive you enough amount of money and craze.

I have no idea how people can find the time to post daily. It is difficult for me to get 2 or 3 posts in a week!

Hmm, more than 2 per day? wow that is really hard work? how to find so many idea or story? If your are running your blog with multiple author that is okay but if you are just single author, wow that is really hard work man. So I agree much is hurt..
p/s: I’m just write about 1 post per 2 days.
The no. of posts per day would certainly depend on the category of the blog. But, whatever may be the category, more than 2 hurts.

Usually tech sites doing 2 to 5 these days.You’re also posting at least 2 daily..but that;s OK because you blogs on many categories na.
I’m a partner at this blog which started very recently.We are trying to push too much content these days.
Around 10 daily..We planned it for some time period because its educational site.

I completely disagree with you. You can always ignore those post which you are not interested in.
And it’s not a waste of talent, until and unless you have a blog/site with thousands of readers. Small blogger like you and me still rely on organic search.

Pushing more than 2 posts in blogging niche is very very difficult.If it’s tech site then author doesn’t need to work much to get idea.
Every post in blogging niche should be able to attract the visitor.In reality more than 2 per daily is waste of time.Of course it may drive some organic traffic but not that worth of your time.

Yes,that depends on time and niche.In my case i post 2 per week. Because my blog is regarding professional jobs and testing field.
As lax said blogging sites face difficult to post 2 per daily.
Good point Lax.I Do follow some sites like techcrunch and some tech sites..but really i will read only titles.
Because there will be 10’s of posts to read

Education and jobs sites are exceptional,you can have xx posts daily or x posts daily.that doesn’t cause you anything..the more you post the more your readers get benefited right.

Sometimes, I usually Do fresh content for my blog every other day so that my readers won’t be annoyed.
I also don’t want to be like spammers in the thoughts of my email readers.
If you do publishing a content 1/day or 2/day, one of your valuable post would get behind where it will be pushed down of your page that your readers can’t read it.
So posting every other day would be ideal for me to give chance to my readers if they missed my previous post on that day.
Yes I Do agree with you. Tech blog maybe need more post daily because tech grown very fast..but for blogging niche I think 1 is the best since people have little time to spend in one site.
